Golden Skate: Ice Wars

Ice Wars - World Ice Figure Skating Challenge

This now-annual competition involves men and women competing on USA and World teams in technical and artistic programs. In 1994, scores for the women and scores for the men were averaged to find totals. The format of the scoring system continues to occasionally change throughout the years. In 2005, the event featured the first "Men vs. Ladies" format for this event.
